PRF Under-eye Treatment

PRF (platelet-rich fibrin) is a more concentrated version of PRP (platelet-rich plasma). PRF is injected into the tear trough and under-eye area to help tighten and rejuvenate the very delicate skin underneath the eyes. Over 90 days, your skin will become stronger and firmer as your body works with your natural growth factors to diminish dark circles and fine lines. PRF also results in an increase in collagen production and skin elasticity. This is an extremely safe alternative to under-eye fillers and is recommended in a series of three treatments over the course of four to six months.

FAQs

What is the PRF under-eye treatment experience like? The PRP is obtained by drawing your own blood, placing the vials in a centrifuge to separate the red blood cells from the PRP and then retrieving only the PRP for your treatment. The PRP is mixed with calcium chloride to produce the gelatinous substance, PRF! The PRF is then injected along the entire orbital rim of your eye, leaving a small, crescent shaped bulge under your eye. This bulge resolves significantly overnight, and typically dissipates by the third day after treatment. Even one treatment will produce revitalized, younger-looking skin by improving skin tone and texture and revitalizing the delicate skin under the eyes. A series of three treatments spaced 30-45 days apart will yield even more dramatic results, as the timing of your natural skin cell cycle is used to stimulate increased collagen and elastin production to combat those fine lines and dark circles.
